Astralis won the 2019 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive StarLadder Berlin Major.
The Danish team defeated AVANGAR 2–0 in the grand final on September 8, 2019, at the Mercedes-Benz-Arena in Berlin. The victory extended Astralis’s remarkable Major run and added another championship to its era of dominance.
Astralis’s roster included device, dupreeh, Xyp9x, gla1ve, and Magisk. The team’s structured tactics, utility usage, and disciplined late-round decisions became hallmarks of its style during the late 2010s.
The Berlin Major was the final CS:GO Major before the COVID-19 disruption led to a long break in Valve-sponsored Majors. It should not be confused with the 2019 IEM Katowice Major, which Astralis also won earlier that year.
