Which NHL team won the 2011 Stanley Cup Final?

The story behind the answer

The Boston Bruins won the 2011 Stanley Cup Final by defeating the Vancouver Canucks four games to three.

Boston won the decisive seventh game 4–0 in Vancouver on June 15, 2011. The championship was the Bruins’ first Stanley Cup since 1972 and their sixth overall at that time.

The Final was marked by a sharp home-and-away contrast: Vancouver won all three games at home, while Boston won all four games at TD Garden. Tim Thomas won the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP after an outstanding postseason.

Boston’s roster included Zdeno Chára, Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, Milan Lucic, and David Krejčí. The Bruins’ title ended a 39-year championship drought for the franchise.
