Which New Wave group was fronted by the respected Midge Ure?

Ultravox was the New Wave group fronted by the respected musician Midge Ure. Ure joined the band in 1979 after original vocalist John Foxx departed, taking on lead vocals, guitar, and songwriting duties.

The Ure-led lineup—Ure, Billy Currie, Chris Cross, and Warren Cann—became Ultravox's classic commercial-era formation. Its first album with Ure was Vienna, released in 1980. The title track became one of the band's defining songs, known for its dramatic synthesizers, electronic drums, and atmospheric production. Later albums such as Rage in Eden, Quartet, Lament, and U-Vox continued the group's run of British chart success.

Midge Ure was also active beyond Ultravox.
