Which monastery connects the nations in Fire Emblem: Three Houses?
Answer
Garreg Mach Monastery
Answer
Garreg Mach Monastery
Garreg Mach Monastery connects the nations of Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
Located near the centre of Fódlan, Garreg Mach is the headquarters of the Church of Seiros and the home of the Officers Academy. Its position makes it a politically important meeting place between the three major powers: the Adrestian Empire, the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus and the Leicester Alliance.
The academy is divided into three houses based on those nations. The Black Eagles represent the Empire, the Blue Lions represent Faerghus and the Golden Deer represent Leicester. At the beginning of the game, Byleth becomes a professor and chooses which house to teach, making Garreg Mach the main hub for lessons, battles, exploration and relationship-building.
Garreg Mach is more than a neutral school. It is also a fortified religious centre, the seat of Archbishop Rhea and the base of the Knights of Seiros. Its apparent neutrality collapses when Edelgard's revolution triggers war across Fódlan, and the monastery becomes a major strategic target. Abyss is an underground district beneath it, not the monastery itself.
