Which McDonaldland character has a cheeseburger for a head?

The McDonaldland character with a cheeseburger for a head is Mayor McCheese.

Mayor McCheese was one of the prominent characters in McDonald’s fictional McDonaldland universe. He was depicted as the mayor of the imaginary community and had a large cheeseburger for a head, complete with familiar burger ingredients.

McDonaldland advertising introduced a group of colorful characters who interacted with Ronald McDonald and represented a fantasy setting built around the restaurant’s food and brand identity. The characters appeared in television commercials, packaging, and other promotional material, especially during the 1970s and 1980s.

The characters are easy to mix up because many had food-related names and exaggerated designs. The Hamburglar was a burger thief, while Birdie the Early Bird promoted breakfast. Mayor McCheese is the character specifically identified by the cheeseburger head and mayoral role.
