The Manchester United goalkeeper who joined Trabzonspor on loan in summer 2026 was André Onana.
Onana had already spent the 2025–26 season with the Turkish club, and United subsequently agreed a similar loan for 2026–27. That makes this a renewal rather than his first move to Trabzonspor, but Onana remains the only answer that fits the question.
The Cameroon international joined Manchester United from Inter Milan in July 2023 after building his reputation at Ajax. He reunited in Manchester with Erik ten Hag, who had coached him in Amsterdam. Onana helped United win the 2024 FA Cup, although his early Old Trafford period included criticism over errors and defensive uncertainty.
