Which male coach is listed as one of Simone Biles's head coaches?

Laurent Landi is the male coach listed among Simone Biles’s head coaches. He and his wife, Cecile Canqueteau-Landi, became Biles’s coaches after her longtime coach, Aimee Boorman, left following the 2016 Olympic cycle.

Landi is a former French artistic gymnast who later built a coaching career in the United States. Before working directly with Biles, he coached at World Olympic Gymnastics Academy and worked with elite athletes including Madison Kocian. In 2017, he moved to World Champions Centre, where he joined Biles’s training team.

The Landis helped Biles return to elite competition after her post-Rio break and coached her through the Tokyo and Paris Olympic cycles. Laurent is especially associated with refining Biles’s uneven-bars work and supporting difficult skills that became part of her later routines.

The other options are connected to gymnastics history, but not as the listed male head coach for Biles: Béla Karolyi and Valeri Liukin coached other major champions, while Tom Forster served in a national-team leadership role.
