Which lion is the creator and ruler of Narnia in C.S. Lewis’s fantasy series?

The story behind the answer

Aslan is the creator and ruler of Narnia in C.S. Lewis’s fantasy series.

Aslan is a powerful, wise lion who appears throughout The Chronicles of Narnia. He creates Narnia through song in The Magician’s Nephew, guides characters during major crises, and appears at the series’ conclusion in The Last Battle. His role is larger than that of a conventional animal character.

Aslan is widely understood as a Christian figure, with episodes that echo themes of sacrifice, death, resurrection, judgment, and redemption. Lewis resisted reducing the stories to simple one-to-one allegories, but he openly connected Aslan with his understanding of Christ.

The wrong answers are also Narnian characters. Tumnus is a faun, Caspian is a human prince and king, and Puddleglum is a Marsh-wiggle. None has Aslan’s creator-ruler role.
