Which Kawasaki motorcycle is powered by a production supercharged engine and carries the Ninja H2R name?

The story behind the answer

The Kawasaki Ninja H2R is Kawasaki’s production supercharged motorcycle. Kawasaki Heavy Industries introduced the H2R as a closed-course track machine alongside the road-legal Ninja H2.

Its engine is a 998 cc inline-four fitted with a centrifugal supercharger. The supercharger compresses intake air before it enters the engine, allowing the motorcycle to produce very high power without relying on a much larger displacement. Kawasaki developed the project with technology from several divisions of its wider industrial company.

The H2R has aerodynamic bodywork, a trellis frame, and winglets intended to improve high-speed stability. Because it is designed for closed-course use, it does not have the same road-legal equipment and restrictions as the Ninja H2.

The H2R is therefore not simply a trim name for the Ninja ZX-10R. The ZX-10R uses a naturally aspirated inline-four engine.
