Which Italian meet did Biles win all-around, vault, beam, and floor titles at in 2013?

Simone Biles won the all-around, vault, balance beam, and floor exercise titles at the 2013 City of Jesolo Trophy in Italy.

The competition, held in Jesolo in March 2013, was one of the first major international stops of Biles’s senior career. She won the all-around with a score of 60.400 and helped the United States take the team title as well.

Biles collected three apparatus victories in the event finals: vault, balance beam, and floor exercise. She did not win every individual apparatus, however; Kyla Ross won the uneven-bars title. That distinction explains why some summaries describe Biles as winning four titles overall rather than sweeping all four events.

The U.S. performance was especially notable because American gymnasts occupied the top six places in the senior all-around. Biles’s Jesolo success preceded her later 2013 U.S. national and world all-around championships, making the meet an important early chapter in her rise.
