Reliance Industries is the parent of Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail.

Dhirubhai Ambani founded Reliance Commercial Corporation in 1966, and the business later developed into Reliance Industries. It began in textiles and expanded into petrochemicals, refining, oil and gas, telecommunications, retail, and digital services.
