Which Harry Potter book is titled Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows?

The story behind the answer

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the seventh and final main Harry Potter novel by J.K. Rowling.

Bloomsbury published it in the United Kingdom on 21 July 2007. The plot follows Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they leave Hogwarts to search for objects connected with Voldemort’s power rather than returning for a normal school year.

The title refers to three legendary magical objects: the Elder Wand, the Resurrection Stone, and the Cloak of Invisibility. Together, they form the Deathly Hallows of the title.

The book is sometimes called the eighth Harry Potter story because later stage and screen projects expanded the franchise. In Rowling’s original novel sequence, however, Deathly Hallows is number seven.
