Which group released the 1996 album ATLiens?

Outkast released the 1996 album ATLiens.

ATLiens was Outkast’s second studio album, following their 1994 debut Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. The title combines “ATL,” a common abbreviation for Atlanta, with “aliens,” reflecting the duo’s outsider perspective and their science-fiction-influenced artistic style.

The album was made by André 3000 and Big Boi, with production from Organized Noize and other collaborators. It reached number two on the US Billboard 200 and helped establish Outkast as a leading Southern hip hop act.

The title is sometimes confused with Aquemini, Outkast’s third album, released in 1998. ATLiens contains the singles “Elevators (Me & You)” and “ATLiens,” while Aquemini includes “Rosa Parks” and “Skew It on the Bar-B.”
