Answer
Destiny’s Child
Answer
Destiny’s Child
The group that included Beyoncé before her solo career was Destiny’s Child.
Destiny’s Child formed in Houston, Texas, in 1990 under an earlier name, Girl’s Tyme. Beyoncé was one of the original members, and the group eventually became a major success after signing with Columbia Records. Its most commercially successful lineup consisted of Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams.
The group’s breakthrough came with “No, No, No,” followed by hits such as “Say My Name,” “Survivor,” and “Bootylicious.” Destiny’s Child became known for polished vocal harmonies, assertive themes, and coordinated performances. The members also pursued individual projects while the group was active.
Destiny’s Child announced a temporary hiatus in 2002 and later reunited for selected performances. The group officially disbanded in 2006. Beyoncé’s solo debut, Dangerously in Love, was released in 2003, while Destiny’s Child’s final studio album, Destiny Fulfilled, came out in 2004.
