Which Greek hero wounded both Aphrodite and Ares in battle?

Diomedes wounded both Aphrodite and Ares in battle in Homer’s Iliad. During his great fighting spree in Book 5, the goddess Athena gives Diomedes extraordinary battlefield insight, allowing him to distinguish gods from mortals and attack only Aphrodite or Ares among the Olympians.

Diomedes first confronts Aeneas, Aphrodite’s son. When Aphrodite tries to rescue Aeneas, Diomedes strikes her hand with his spear, forcing her to abandon the battlefield. Later, with Athena guiding his attack, he faces Ares, the god of war, and drives a spear into him. Ares cries out and flees to Olympus.

The episode is unusual because Diomedes remains mortal while temporarily challenging two gods. He does not defeat them unaided: Athena empowers and guides him, and he withdraws when Apollo warns him not to overstep mortal limits.
