Which god was the king of the gods and part of the Theban triad?

The story behind the answer

Amun was the king of the gods and the father of the Theban triad in ancient Egyptian religion.

Amun began as a deity associated with the invisible and hidden forces of creation. His principal cult center became Thebes, where he rose to prominence during the 11th Dynasty. After Egypt was reunified under rulers from Thebes, Amun gained national importance and was often joined with the sun god Ra as Amun-Ra.

The Theban triad consisted of Amun, his consort Mut, and their son Khonsu, the moon god. Their major religious center was the vast temple complex at Karnak. Amun was not the same deity as Ra, Ptah, or Khnum, although Egyptian religion frequently combined gods or connected their powers.

Amun's name is commonly interpreted as meaning “the hidden one.” He was also worshipped beyond Egypt, including in Nubia, and Greek writers identified him with Zeus as Zeus Ammon.
