Which game introduced the Create-a-Park mode?
Answer
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
Answer
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 introduced the Create-a-Park mode, known in the original game as the Level Editor.
The feature let players build custom skateparks from a collection of ramps, rails, platforms and other pieces. Construction began on a flat, empty canvas, and players could rotate the view while positioning components. Different themes, including warehouse- and park-like settings, gave the editor more personality than a simple obstacle-placement tool.
Create-a-Park arrived alongside several other major additions in Pro Skater 2, including manuals, cash rewards and character customization. The level editor expanded the game's replay value because players were no longer limited to the professionally designed career stages. They could experiment with layouts designed for speed, gap hunting or elaborate combo lines.
The feature is often confused with later versions of Create-a-Park, especially the much more flexible editor in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2. That remaster brought the concept back with modern tools and online sharing, but the original series debut belongs to Pro Skater 2.
