Which game introduced Lara Croft’s friend Jonah Maiava?

Tomb Raider (2013) introduced Lara Croft’s friend Jonah Maiava.

Jonah Maiava is a member of the Endurance expedition and one of Lara’s closest companions in the Survivor trilogy. He is presented as a cook and capable expedition member who supports Lara during the group’s ordeal on Yamatai. His calm personality and loyalty make him an important contrast to the danger and distrust surrounding the expedition.

Jonah returns in Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, where his relationship with Lara becomes more developed. He is therefore sometimes remembered mainly from the later games, even though his first appearance was in the 2013 reboot.

Tomb Raider (2013) rebooted the series’ continuity and depicted Lara’s first major survival adventure. It also introduced several other recurring characters, including Sam Nishimura, Alex Weiss, and Conrad Roth.
