Which Fortnite mode centers on cooperative tower-defense survival?
Answer
Save the World
Answer
Save the World
Save the World is Fortnite’s cooperative tower-defense survival mode.
In Save the World, players work together to gather resources, construct defenses, craft equipment, and protect objectives from waves of husks—Fortnite’s zombie-like enemies. The mode blends third-person shooting, survival systems, exploration, light role-playing, and tower-defense strategy.
Up to four players can cooperate on missions. They build with wood, brick, and metal, then place walls, ramps, traps, and other defenses around targets such as storm-shield objectives. Successful missions reward players with materials, heroes, survivors, weapon schematics, and progression toward harder challenges.
Save the World was Fortnite’s original player-versus-environment concept and entered paid early access on July 25, 2017. Battle Royale followed later that year and became the platform’s most famous mode. Fortnite Festival is music-focused, Party Royale is a social space, and Rocket Racing is a driving experience, so none matches the tower-defense description.
