Which Foo Fighters album includes the 2017 single “Run”? It appears on Concrete and Gold.

“Run” was released as a surprise single on June 1, 2017, and later became the lead single from Foo Fighters’ ninth studio album, Concrete and Gold. The album followed the band’s Saint Cecilia period and was released on September 15, 2017, through Roswell and RCA.

The song begins with a restrained guitar-and-vocal passage before expanding into a much heavier arrangement with distorted riffs, forceful drums and screamed vocals. Its video presents the band members as elderly residents who stage a chaotic nursing-home rebellion, adding a comic contrast to the song’s intensity.

Greg Kurstin produced Concrete and Gold with the band. “Run” topped Billboard’s US Mainstream Rock Songs chart and won the 2018 Grammy for Best Rock Song. It is sometimes confused with songs from Sonic Highways or Medicine at Midnight, but neither album contains it.
