FKA twigs won Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2026 Grammys for Eusexua.
Eusexua is FKA twigs’ third studio album, released on January 24, 2025, through Young and Atlantic Records. Its title is a word Twigs created for a euphoric state of feeling so intense that it can seem to transcend ordinary language and the limits of the body. The album’s concept grew partly from her interest in Prague’s underground techno and rave culture.
The sound is electronic but not limited to one club genre. Twigs described the project as carrying techno’s spirit while remaining “deep but not sad,” and longtime collaborator Koreless and electronic duo Two Shell helped shape its production. The album followed a five-year gap after her previous studio album, Magdalene, and marked a major shift toward expansive techno, trance, and experimental dance textures.
The category’s other 2026 nominees included Fred again..’s Ten Days, PinkPantheress’s Fancy That, and RÜFÜS DU SOL’s Inhale / Exhale. Those are album titles, while Best Dance/Electronic Recording was a separate singles-and-tracks category won by Tame Impala.
