Which Fire Emblem game was the first developed for the Super Famicom?

The story behind the answer

The first Fire Emblem game developed for the Super Famicom was Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem.

Released in Japan on January 21, 1994, Mystery of the Emblem was the third mainline Fire Emblem title and the series' first entry for Nintendo's 16-bit Super Famicom. It was developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo.

The game is unusual because it combines a remake and a sequel. Its first part retells Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, while its second part continues Marth's story with an original campaign. This structure helped introduce the original adventure to Super Famicom players while advancing the wider Archanean storyline.

Fire Emblem Gaiden came earlier, in 1992, but it was released for the original Famicom, not the Super Famicom. Genealogy of the Holy War followed in 1996, and Thracia 776 followed in 1999, so neither can be the system's first Fire Emblem game.
