Which Fire Emblem game is a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden?

The story behind the answer

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is the remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden. Nintendo and Intelligent Systems released Echoes worldwide for the Nintendo 3DS in 2017, bringing the Japan-only 1992 Famicom game to an international audience.

The remake follows two childhood friends, Alm and Celica, whose journeys unfold across the continent of Valentia. Alm leads a military campaign, while Celica searches for a peaceful solution and seeks the guidance of the goddess Mila. Their separate routes eventually converge as they confront the forces destabilizing Valentia.

Echoes preserves several unusual features from Gaiden, including explorable towns, a world map, and dungeon exploration. It also modernizes the original with fully voiced major scenes, redesigned artwork, expanded character writing, and newer Fire Emblem systems. The other answer choices are remakes or reworkings of different games: Shadow Dragon remakes the original Fire Emblem, New Mystery of the Emblem remakes Mystery of the Emblem's Book 2, and The Binding Blade is an original entry rather than a Gaiden remake.
