Which fighter knocked out José Aldo in 13 seconds at UFC 194?

The story behind the answer

Conor McGregor knocked out José Aldo in 13 seconds at UFC 194 to win the UFC featherweight championship.

The fight took place on December 12, 2015, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Aldo entered as the undisputed champion and had not lost a professional fight in more than a decade.

McGregor landed a left hand as Aldo moved forward, immediately dropping him. The referee stopped the contest at 13 seconds, making it the fastest finish in a UFC title fight at that time and one of the most famous moments in the promotion’s history.

The result ended Aldo’s long reign and fulfilled McGregor’s prediction that he would finish the fight quickly. McGregor later became the first UFC fighter to hold two division titles simultaneously.
