Which famous restaurant chain created a sauce in Ed Sheeran's honor?

The story behind the answer

Nando’s created a special sauce in honor of Ed Sheeran.

The singer was famously associated with Nando’s, the South African-founded restaurant chain known for flame-grilled chicken and PERi-PERi sauce. After Sheeran was photographed with the chain’s coveted “black card,” Nando’s produced a limited-edition Ed Sheeran PERi-PERi bottle featuring his face and distinctive red hair.

The sauce was a playful tribute rather than a permanent new menu category. Sheeran’s love of Nando’s was already part of his public image, and he even referenced the restaurant in the song “Nando’s Skank,” recorded with Example.

This is sometimes confused with Tingly Ted’s, the hot-sauce brand Sheeran later launched with Heinz. Tingly Ted’s is Sheeran’s own commercial sauce line; the commemorative restaurant sauce was made by Nando’s.
