Jenny Han directed “Last Dance,” episode 5 of The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3. She also wrote the teleplay for the episode, which premiered on August 6, 2025.
The episode follows Conrad as he reluctantly helps Belly with wedding preparation because Jeremiah is stuck working late at Adam’s firm. Conrad and Belly spend the day together, prompting him to revisit memories of their former relationship. Jeremiah’s workplace story also develops when he discovers a financial error involving a company Adam’s firm wants to acquire.
The episode gives Adam a more supportive role toward Jeremiah. After learning about Jeremiah’s discovery and the wedding plans, Adam offers to pay for the wedding if it is held at his country club. Meanwhile, Steven and Denise travel by train to New York for a conference, where they bond over video games and career goals.
“Last Dance” is also notable because Conrad narrates the episode. However, this question asks for the director, not the narrator. The episode’s dual credit reflects Han’s creative involvement as both series creator and episode filmmaker.
