Which entrepreneur founded Dell Technologies as PC's Limited in 1984?

Michael Dell founded Dell Technologies as PC’s Limited in 1984.

Dell started the company while studying at the University of Texas at Austin. He saw an opportunity to sell personal computers directly to customers and configure them to meet individual needs, rather than relying entirely on traditional retail stores.

The business was initially called PC’s Limited. It later became Dell Computer Corporation and then Dell Inc. The direct-sales model helped the company reduce inventory and learn about customer requirements, although the market and business strategy changed substantially over time.

Dell Technologies became the modern company’s name after Dell’s 2016 acquisition of EMC. That later corporate identity should not be confused with the original 1984 name, PC’s Limited.
