Which entrepreneur became the youngest-ever Dragon when he joined Dragons' Den in 2021?

Steven Bartlett became the youngest-ever Dragon when he joined Dragons' Den in 2021.

Bartlett was born in Botswana in 1992 and became known as a co-founder of the social-media marketing company Social Chain. He later developed a public profile through podcasting, entrepreneurship, and investment.

He joined the BBC programme for its nineteenth series, becoming notably younger than the established investors who had traditionally dominated the panel. His appointment broadened the show’s focus toward digital businesses, online communities, and technology-led brands.

The phrase youngest-ever Dragon refers to his age when appointed, not to the age of the youngest entrepreneur who has appeared as a contestant. Those are separate records and are frequently confused.
