Which Egyptian Medjay is the protagonist of Assassin's Creed Origins?
Answer
Bayek of Siwa
Answer
Bayek of Siwa
Bayek of Siwa is the Egyptian Medjay protagonist of Assassin's Creed Origins. The game follows him and his wife Aya as they become involved in the origins of the Hidden Ones.
Origins is set mainly in Ptolemaic Egypt during the first century BCE. Bayek begins as a protector and investigator in Siwa, and his personal quest gradually becomes connected to a larger struggle against the Order of the Ancients, a predecessor organization to the Templars.
Aya is an equally important playable character, but Bayek is the central protagonist and the character most associated with the game's main campaign. Origins also introduced a more role-playing-focused structure, including experience levels, loot, dialogue choices, and a large open world based on ancient Egypt.
