Theo Paphitis left the British Dragon's Den panel in 2013.
Paphitis is a Cyprus-born British retail entrepreneur who became one of the programme’s best-known investors. His business interests have included retail, stationery, lingerie and other consumer-facing sectors, making him especially associated with pitches involving stores and branded products.
He joined the programme in its early years and remained a Dragon for several series before departing in 2013. His departure is distinct from the later arrival of investors such as Nick Jenkins, Touker Suleyman and Tej Lalvani, whose appointments changed the panel in subsequent years.
Paphitis continued to appear in British business media after leaving the show. His Dragon's Den career is also separate from the separate fact that he became associated with the Ryman stationery chain, which is often used to identify him.
