Which Dragon left the BBC series Dragon's Den after its twelfth series?

Duncan Bannatyne left the BBC series Dragon's Den after its twelfth series.

Bannatyne was one of the original Dragons when the British programme began in 2005. He remained on the panel for twelve series before departing in 2014, after nearly a decade of televised negotiations.

He built his business career in areas including care homes, health clubs and hotels. His plain-spoken questioning and willingness to challenge entrepreneurs became characteristic features of his time in the Den.

Bannatyne's departure is sometimes placed in 2013 because his final series was produced around that period. The standard series-based description is that he left after series twelve, with the change taking effect before the next regular lineup.
