Which developer made the Game Boy Advance version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2?

The story behind the answer

Vicarious Visions made the Game Boy Advance version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2.

The studio developed the handheld game as a launch title for the Game Boy Advance, releasing it in North America on June 11, 2001. It was not simply a reduced 2D port: Vicarious Visions built a 3D engine with polygonal characters and presented the action from an isometric viewpoint.

The team began development in August 2000 and initially considered a sprite-based approach. That plan would have required too much cartridge storage to reproduce the PlayStation game's many tricks and animations, so the developers pursued real-time polygonal rendering instead. The result preserved much of the console game's trick-focused feel on a system designed primarily for 2D graphics.

The other developers are easy to confuse because they worked on related Tony Hawk releases. Neversoft created the main console games, Treyarch handled the Dreamcast version of the first game, and Shaba Games worked on later series entries. Vicarious Visions became especially associated with Tony Hawk's handheld adaptations.
