Which CSI character was a former member of LAPD SID?

Morgan Brody was a former member of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Scientific Investigation Division, or LAPD SID.

Played by Elisabeth Harnois, Morgan first appears late in CSI’s eleventh season and becomes a regular character afterward. Her move to the Las Vegas Police Department’s crime lab follows the Nate Haskell scandal, which reshapes the CSI team.

Morgan is also the estranged daughter of Sheriff Conrad Ecklie, giving her arrival an immediate personal connection to the established cast. She frequently works with Nick Stokes and develops a close friendship with David Hodges.

A common mix-up is confusing Morgan with Sofia Curtis, Wendy Simms, or Riley Adams. Those characters worked in or around CSI investigations, but Morgan is the one specifically identified as a former LAPD SID member.
