Which cruise ship hosted the first Starbucks at sea?

The story behind the answer

Allure of the Seas hosted the first Starbucks at sea.

The Royal Caribbean ship introduced the onboard Starbucks coffee shop when it entered service in 2010. The partnership brought the familiar café concept into a cruise-ship setting, making Allure one of the earliest major vessels to offer a branded Starbucks location as part of its dining and retail lineup.

Allure of the Seas is an Oasis-class ship operated by Royal Caribbean International. It was completed in October 2010 and made its maiden voyage on December 1 of that year. The ship arrived at its home port, Port Everglades in Florida, on November 11, 2010, shortly before its formal naming ceremony.

The ship is often confused with Oasis of the Seas because the two vessels are sister ships and both were among the world’s largest passenger ships. Symphony of the Seas joined the fleet much later, while Icon of the Seas belongs to a newer class. Allure’s Starbucks was part of a much broader onboard offering that included dozens of dining options and multiple entertainment neighborhoods.
