Which course hosted its only Open Championship in 1932?

The story behind the answer

Prince's Golf Club hosted its only Open Championship in 1932.

The 67th Open Championship took place from 8 to 10 June 1932 at Prince's in Sandwich, England. The course lies just north of Royal St George's on England's south-eastern coast, forming part of a famous cluster of links venues near Sandwich and Deal.

Prince's was used for qualifying alongside Royal St George's, but the championship itself was played at Prince's. Gene Sarazen won the event, leading from the opening round and finishing five strokes ahead of Macdonald Smith. His winning total was 283, five under par.

The venue never hosted the Open again. Its course was requisitioned and badly damaged during the Second World War, helping explain why it disappeared from the championship schedule. Royal Liverpool, Royal Birkdale and Royal Cinque Ports are plausible distractors because all are major English Open venues, but none hosted the 1932 championship.
