Spain defeated Canada in the final of the 2019 Davis Cup Finals.
The final was played in Madrid on 24 November 2019, where Spain won the tie 2–0. Roberto Bautista Agut defeated Félix Auger-Aliassime in the opening singles match, and Rafael Nadal then beat Denis Shapovalov to secure the championship before a deciding doubles rubber was needed.
The victory gave Spain its sixth Davis Cup title and its first since 2011. It was also the first edition of the competition under the redesigned Finals format, which brought 18 national teams together at one venue over a single week.
Great Britain and Russia were also involved in the knockout stage, but they were not Spain’s final opponent. Australia appeared in the tournament field as well, while Canada advanced through the other semifinal to meet Spain in the championship match.
