Dupreeh became the first Counter-Strike player to win five Major championships.
The Danish rifler achieved this record during his career with Astralis, one of the most successful teams in Counter-Strike history. His Major victories came at FACEIT Major 2018, IEM Katowice 2019, StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, and the two Majors held in 2017: ELEAGUE Major Atlanta and PGL Major Kraków.
Dupreeh was part of the Astralis lineup that established an era of dominance in 2018 and 2019. That team also became the first to win three consecutive Majors, taking the titles in London, Katowice, and Berlin.
The record is sometimes confused with the number of Major titles won by a team rather than an individual player. Other legendary players, including dev1ce and Xyp9x, also won multiple Majors with Astralis, but dupreeh was the first to reach five.
