LVMH is the parent corporation of Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Bulgari.
LVMH stands for LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE, the world’s largest luxury-goods company by revenue and market value for much of the 2010s and 2020s. Its portfolio spans fashion, leather goods, perfumes, cosmetics, wines, spirits, watches, jewelry, and selective retailing.
The group was formed in 1987 through the merger of Moët Hennessy and Louis Vuitton. Its many famous brands help explain why investors value LVMH as a diversified luxury conglomerate rather than as a single fashion label. Kering and Richemont are major competitors, but they own different brand portfolios.
