Which company developed the VR puzzle game I Expect You To Die?

The story behind the answer

Schell Games developed the VR puzzle game I Expect You To Die.

Released in 2016, I Expect You To Die places players in the role of a telekinetic secret agent trapped in dangerous situations. Players inspect objects, manipulate tools, and solve environmental puzzles while trying to survive elaborate spy-movie hazards.

Schell Games designed the title around room-scale and seated VR interaction. Telekinesis is especially important because it lets players grab and move objects beyond normal reach, reducing the need for constant physical movement.

The title’s name is a reference to the villain’s catchphrase in the James Bond film franchise, but the game is not an official Bond adaptation. Its success led to sequel content and helped establish polished puzzle adventures as a notable VR genre.
