Which comedy podcast features former late-night host Conan O'Brien, Sona Movsesian, and Matt Gourley?

The comedy podcast featuring Conan O'Brien, Sona Movsesian, and Matt Gourley is Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend.

The series debuted in November 2018 after O'Brien's late-night show was on hiatus and was created through his Team Coco production company with Earwolf. O'Brien is the host, Movsesian is his longtime assistant and on-air sidekick, and Gourley serves as producer and co-host. Their workplace relationship supplies much of the show's recurring humor.

Episodes usually combine a relaxed interview with a comedian, actor, musician, writer, or other public figure and unscripted exchanges among the central trio. The title is a joke about O'Brien's claim that his celebrity conversations do not necessarily turn into real friendships. The format gives listeners more room for improvisation than a conventional television talk show.

The podcast is not The Tonight Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, or a program officially titled The Conan O'Brien Show. Those are television or alternate-name associations that can make the answer seem plausible, but the podcast's canonical title is Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend. Team Coco was sold to SiriusXM in 2022, while the podcast continued its distribution.
