Answer
Steve Carell
Answer
Steve Carell
Steve Carell starred as Michael Scott in the U.S. version of The Office.
Michael Scott is the manager of the Scranton branch of the fictional paper company Dunder Mifflin. Carell played him as an insecure, attention-seeking boss who often wants to be admired but repeatedly creates awkward situations for his staff.
The U.S. series was adapted from the British sitcom created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. It premiered in 2005 and developed its own ensemble, workplace stories, and long-running character arcs. Carell remained a central cast member through the seventh season.
Michael Scott is sometimes confused with David Brent, the manager played by Gervais in the original British series. They occupy similar roles, but they are distinct characters in separate adaptations.
