Which comedian performed the 1987 concert film Eddie Murphy Raw?

Eddie Murphy performed the 1987 concert film Eddie Murphy Raw.

Directed by Robert Townsend, the film records Murphy’s stand-up performance and presents it as a large-scale theatrical event rather than a conventional club recording. It followed Murphy’s breakthrough years on Saturday Night Live and in films such as 48 Hrs., Trading Places, and Beverly Hills Cop.

Raw became one of the most commercially successful stand-up concert films of its era. It is often confused with Murphy’s earlier concert film Delirious, which was released in 1983. Both titles document Murphy’s live comedy, but Raw is the later 1987 production and is the one associated with the title in the question.
