St Helens won the 2014 Super League Grand Final by defeating Wigan Warriors 14–6.
The final was played at Old Trafford in Manchester on 11 October 2014. St Helens secured the Super League title with a controlled performance against their traditional rivals Wigan.
The victory was St Helens’ first Super League Grand Final win since 2006. The club had appeared in several finals during the intervening years, making the result especially significant for its supporters.
The Super League Grand Final is distinct from the Challenge Cup final. Super League determines the league champion through its play-off system, while the Challenge Cup is a separate knockout competition open across the British rugby league structure.
