Chelsea scored three goals against Fulham in the final match of the 2026–27 Premier League opening weekend.
Chelsea defeated Fulham 3–2 at Craven Cottage on Monday, 24 August 2026. Chelsea’s three goals were enough to win the west London derby, although Fulham scored twice in reply.
The result gave Chelsea a winning start and left Fulham without a point from their first match. Because the fixture was played at Fulham’s stadium, Chelsea were the away team.
This game was the final fixture of the opening round, not the first. Arsenal and Coventry played the season opener three days earlier, while the Saturday and Sunday programmes supplied the other eight matches.
