New York City is scheduled to host the 2026 International Fleet Review connected with America250.
The U.S. Navy planned the review for New York Harbor on July 4, 2026, incorporating Operation Sail 2026. The event is intended to bring military and tall ships together as part of the United States’ 250th-anniversary observances.
International fleet reviews are ceremonial gatherings in which naval vessels assemble for inspection or public display. New York Harbor provides a prominent setting because it has hosted major maritime celebrations before, including earlier OpSail events and large national commemorations.
Operation Sail’s 2026 schedule also includes port calls in New Orleans, Norfolk, Baltimore, and Boston. Those cities are part of the wider tall-ship program, but the International Fleet Review itself is associated with New York Harbor, a distinction that can make the locations easy to mix up.
