Which character is Mike Wazowski's girlfriend in Monsters, Inc.?

Mike Wazowski's girlfriend in Monsters, Inc. is Celia Mae. She works as a receptionist at Monsters, Inc. and is recognizable by her pink cyclops-like appearance, purple snake hair, and tentacle-like legs.

Celia appears early in the film during a birthday date with Mike at Harryhausen's sushi restaurant. Their evening is interrupted when Boo, a human child, enters the monster world and triggers a Child Detection Agency quarantine. After the incident, Celia is angry with Mike because his involvement in the chaos puts her in danger and leaves her wearing a decontamination collar.

A common mix-up is confusing Celia with Roz, the raspy-voiced administrator on the scare floor. Roz is secretly a senior CDA agent, while Celia is Mike's romantic partner. Celia and Mike eventually reconcile, and she remains part of the franchise in Monsters at Work, where Mike promotes her to floor supervisor. Her full name is Celia Mae, not simply “Celia.”
