Which Champagne house makes the Belle Époque prestige cuvée?

The story behind the answer

Perrier-Jouët makes the Belle Époque prestige cuvée.

Belle Époque is especially recognizable for its decorated bottle, whose floral design is based on Japanese anemones. The design was created by the French artist Émile Gallé in 1902, although the prestige cuvée itself was introduced much later, in 1964. Its name refers to the period of cultural and artistic flourishing in France before the First World War.

Perrier-Jouët was founded in Épernay in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Adèle Jouët. The house became strongly associated with Chardonnay, particularly from vineyards in the Côte des Blancs, and its wines are often described as floral and elegant.

Belle Époque is a vintage wine rather than the house’s ordinary non-vintage bottling. The bottle artwork is one of the easiest ways to distinguish it from other prestige Champagnes.
