Which Catholic conspirator was killed with Robert Catesby at Holbeche House after the Gunpowder Plot failed?

The story behind the answer

Thomas Percy was killed with Robert Catesby at Holbeche House after the Gunpowder Plot failed.

Percy was a Catholic gentleman and a relative of the powerful Percy family. He became one of the plotters’ most important financial and practical supporters. He rented property close to the Palace of Westminster, helping the conspirators obtain access to the area beneath Parliament.

After Guy Fawkes was arrested on 5 November 1605, Percy fled London with Catesby and other conspirators. They travelled north and eventually reached Holbeche House in Staffordshire. During the government assault on 8 November, both Percy and Catesby were shot and killed.

Percy is sometimes confused with Thomas Wintour because both were prominent plotters and both survived the initial explosion plan. Wintour was captured, tried and executed in January 1606, whereas Percy died during the final shootout.
