Which Cars short series features Mater telling exaggerated stories about his past?

Mater's Tall Tales is the Cars short series featuring Mater's exaggerated stories about his past.

The series, officially titled Cars Toons: Mater's Tall Tales, centers on Mater recounting unlikely adventures to Lightning McQueen. The stories place Mater in roles such as a firefighter, stunt performer, and spy, while the framing scenes usually reveal that McQueen is listening to him in Radiator Springs. The comedy comes from the gap between Mater's confident storytelling and the audience's uncertainty about what really happened.

The first short, “Mater the Greater,” premiered in 2008. The series is separate from the feature films Cars, Cars 2, and Cars 3, although it uses the same characters and world. A common mix-up is calling it simply “Mater's Tall Tales,” which is the story-series title, rather than the full Cars Toons branding used for the shorts.
