Which Canadian singles-chart peak did Taylor Swift’s “august” reach?

Taylor Swift’s “august” reached number 16 on the Canadian Hot 100.

The song achieved that peak after Folklore’s release in July 2020, when the album’s tracks appeared across national charts. Its Canadian result placed it inside the country’s top 20, alongside strong performances in several other markets.

The track also reached number 13 in Australia, number 11 in Malaysia, and number 12 in Singapore. These figures show that its international reception extended beyond the United States, even though it was not initially promoted as a conventional single.

Number 16 is easy to confuse with the song’s number 23 US Hot 100 peak or its later number 46 Billboard Global 200 peak. Those are separate charts with different rules and coverage.
